Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has been forced into several changes for the visit to Sunderland this Saturday afternoon.
Raheem Sterling has been given time off after a busy Christmas fixture list - he’s played the most minutes for the Reds this season - so he’s currently relaxing in Jamaica.
As a result, Rodgers has gone with Borini up front against his former club while Steven Gerrard keeps his place after his match-winning performance in the FA Cup.
