The 28th annual Royal Rumble is less than two weeks away, but it seems the focus may have switched to WWE's February pay-per-view instead.
The event replaces the usual Elimination Chamber event, that has become synonymous with February between 2010 and 2014. But WWE decided to revamp the "Road to Wrestlemania" this year and instead will include the gimmick match in their Summer schedule, presumably in the build up to Summerslam.
The inaugural Fast Lane pay-per-view will take place from the FedEx Forum in Memphis Tennessee on February 22nd and it seems the main event match may have already been announced.
Local advertisements surrounding the event have promoted John Cena and Roman Reigns up against Seth Rollins and The Big Show as the main event of WWE's final pay-per-view stop before Wrestlemania 31.
This will not be good news for fans, who were also told the Royal Rumble main event months before WWE announced it, and found the unveiling underwhelming.

It was stated a few months back that there would be no world title match at Fast Lane because Brock Lesnar wasn't set to be booked for the event. This could be the biggest hint that WWE has given the WWE Universe to suggest that Brock will retain.
Both of The Beast's opponents at the Rumble match are part of this scheduled match and this would suggest that neither will have the world title at the end of January 25th's event because they wouldn't be involved in tag team action if they did.
The tag match would make sense now because both Big Show and Reigns are currently feuding as are Cena and Rollins, but this means that fans have to withstand both feuds continuing after the Rumble. Meaning none of the main event rivalries will change on the road to Wrestlemania.
With Reigns as part of the tag match it also suggests that he wont be winning the Royal Rumble match because John Cena wouldn't be able to co-exist with Reigns, knowing that he has a World Title shot and he has lost his chance.
It goes without saying that this is what has been announced locally, it could just be a dark match main event. it could also just be a mistake by WWE because every card is subject to change. But if it is true, it gives fans a lot of Royal Rumble clues.
