Arsenal fans had something other than the 3-0 victory over Stoke to celebrate on Sunday as the club turned away a fan who had hoped to get into the ground with a 'selfie stick'.

Images circulated on social media of a young girl having her selfie stick confiscated by stewards at the Emirates Stadium before she was allowed entry.
Fans Had their say
The image sparked a huge reaction on Twitter and it seems that, on this subject, the football world is united.
The Daily Mirror have had their say and called the selfie stick: "The end of humanity."

It has been deemed as a potentially dangerous weapon by those clubs that have chosen to impose a ban but, more importantly, the majority of supporters find it incredibly annoying. And rightly so.
