Arsenal target Serie A striker and scans confirm Debuchy out

Published Add your comment

Liverpool fans may be confident of securing a deal for former Real Madrid star Gonzalo Higuain, but Arsenal are still very much in with a shout if the betting stakes are anything to go by. Ladbrokes have remained unmoved by recent speculation claiming that the Reds are to sell Mario Balotelli to Juventus to give them the funds to complete the purchase of Higuain, and the Gunners are installed as their favourites to land the Argentina international this month. Higuain has been a hit in Serie A since moving to Napoli from Real in the summer of 2013, but Arsene Wenger is in need of a goal scoring striker and the 27-year-old’s prowess looks to be enough to have peaked the Frenchman’s interest.
