Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller could be set to depart the club for £45 million, according to the Express.
It has been reported that the German international, despite previously insisting that he wanted to stay at the Bundesliga giants, is now open to a move away from the club, with the duo of Manchester United and Real Madrid reportedly interested in his signature.
In fact, the same report has revealed that the player's agent has already spoken with Madrid over the possibility of a move to the Bernabeu.
However, with the player a huge favourite of Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal, it appears that the club' Dutch manager could yet make a move for the striker's services in the near future.
It was only in May when Muller revealed that he had a special relationship with the Red Devils boss, as he told reporters: "It's no secret that Louis van Gaal and I have a relationship that goes a little beyond the normal relationship between coaches and players.

"[But] I have a contract with Bayern Munich until summer 2017."
It appears, then, that despite Real Madrid showing great interest in the striker, he could yet end up in England's elite division.
Manchester United, though, already have an array of attacking talent at the club, so a move for Muller at this stage would come as a surprise.
However, with the future of Colombian hit-man Radamel Falcao seemingly uncertain, United may look to Muller to replace the man on loan from Monaco. Falcao, of course, was left out of the United squad in the club's 1-0 defeat to Southampton yesterday, which has only fuelled rumours that his long term future is set to be away from Old Trafford.
With the likes of Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and James Wilson also plying their trade at the Theatre of Dreams, Muller would no doubt hand United another fantastic option in attack.
