Oxlade-Chamberlain to join forces with BT Sport for NBA Global Games

The NBA Global Games is coming to London on Thursday January 12th, and BT Sport are pulling out all of the stops ahead of an eagerly anticipated clash.

The New York Knicks and Milwaukee Bucks are in town for the big game at the O2 Arena, and London basketball fans are set to be in full force with a full-capacity turnout expected.

But not only will the game be something to behold for the spectators making the trip to the O2, fans at home will be able to catch all the action on BT Sport.

To add to that, BT Sport will be entertaining fans pre-game with an awesome looking line-up in 'The BT Sport Facebook Lounge'.

Arsenal star forward Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will join BT Sport presenter Helen Skelton in the Lounge as BT take fans to the heart of the build-up, with an array of appearances expected from the many A-list celebrities attending the event.

Last year, many footballers attending the game between the Brooklyn Nets and the Atlanta Hawks, and the appreciation some Premier League stars have for their NBA counterparts is pretty strong.

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is one huge fan of the NBA, and showed his appreciation and fandom during the World Cup last year while England were preparing for the tournament.

Sturridge was a big fan of the Heat last season, and during the 2014 NBA Finals he posted the comments below on Twitter.

"Congrats to the @spurs in the #NBAFinal vs @MiamiHEAT. Wanted it more!! Duncan n Leonard have been unreal. #wow #NBAFinals #greatgame," wrote Sturridge.

The Knicks v Bucks should be a close and competitive game, and Daniel Sturridge for one will love it.
