Royal Rumble main event breaks out on RAW

RAW returned to the home of WrestleMania XXX tonight as New Orleans hosted a show containing Daniel Bryan and all three participants in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at the Royal Rumble, John Cena, Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar.

Cena was the man to open the show however as he came out and made the very strange threat that if he wins the title at the Royal Rumble, he will take the title and go home.

In a move that would be in reaction to the Authority firing Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan and Ryback, Cena would actually get a chance to make up for his bringing back the Authority just moments later.

Triple H and Stephanie would come to the ring and declare that Cena will take on Rollins in a lumberjack match and if Cena wins, all three superstars would be rehired.

As the Lumberjacks came to the ring however, it was obvious they had been carefully selected by the Authority.

John Cena vs Seth Rollins (Lumberjack match)

With J&j Security as members of the lumberjacks, they would form a protective bubble around Rollins whenever he found himself out of the ring.

Cena however was attacked any time he went outside the ropes which actually turned out to be quite a lot.

Cena was on the verge of winning several different times with different lumberjacks impeding him.

The match finally ended when he was pulled out by the Big Show and hit with the knock out punch, a lifeless Cena was then tossed to Rollins to get the easy 1,2,3.

Cena and Rollins would be in the ring once again at the end of the show but this time joined by WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar.

All three men took turns to illustrate the problems they have with each other and each claimed that they will do anything they can to win.

Rollins made the first move however taking a swing at Cena with the Money in the Bank briefcase, leading to Lesnar delivering a suplex to both men.

It didn't keep anyone down however as Cena got up and delivered the AA to Lesnar through a table.

Rollins had the last laugh though delivering the curb stomp to both Lesnar and Cena as RAW went off the air.

Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan retuned to the city where he conquered the Authority at WrestleMania XXX and revealed his intention to win this year's Royal Rumble.

He was confronted by Stephanie McMahon who revealed that Bryan will be in action when Smackdown moves to Thursday this week against the man who originally injured him back in May, Kane.

Kane then came down to the ring and the two men brawled everywhere with Kane even trying to deliver the tombstone on the steel steps once again.

Bryan got the better however as he escaped and beat Kane until referees eventually came down to separate the two.

Dean Ambrose and Rusev

Ambrose was punished for aligning himself with Roman Reigns on Smackdown by being placed in therapy where if he failed the assessment, he wouldn't be allowed to compete in the Royal Rumble.

The therapy ended with Ambrose 'breaking' the therapist and getting him to sign ambrose into the big match in Philadelphia.

When Rusev and Lana came to the ring to mock Ryback for being fired, Ambrose came down to confront the Bulgarian Brute.

The two then found themselves in a match with Ambrose on numerous occasions showing to still be struggling with a leg injury.

Eventually Ambrose couldn't stand and the referee stopped the match leaving Rusev to deliver the super kick and celebrate with the dropping Russian flag.

Roman Reigns and Big Show

Big Show came to the ring to discuss Roman Reigns with the underlying lesson being that he is a loser.

When Reigns came to the ring he retreated and Reigns told him a story of himself conquering a giant.

Eventually Reigns' opponent for the night Luke Harper came down to face the powerhouse with Big Show at ringside.

Reigns got the win with a spear out of nowhere but was attacked by Big Show after the match being hit with the knock out punch.

New Day vs Cesaro and Tyson Kidd

The WWE's newest tag team were in action as they took on Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of the New Day.

The New Day got the win as Big E and Adam Rose watched from ringside leaving Cesaro and Tyson Kidd looking confused after the match.

Jey Uso vs The Miz

The feud between the Miz and his stunt double and the Usos continued tonight as Jey Uso took on the Miz.

Damian Mizdow was on top form again as he continued his comical sideshow  throughout the match.

Eventually, an altercation between Mizdow and Jimmy Uso caused the distraction to Jey which allowed Miz to hit the skull crushing finale and win the match.

Brie Bella vs Paige

Brie Bella took on Paige with Nikki Bella and Natalya with Tyson Kidd watching from ringside.

Kidd would cause the win in the end as he attempted to enter the ring to celebrate with Paige thinking she had a three count when it was only two.

Brie then got the roll up victory leaving Paige angry with Kidd who was trying to explain his actions to his wife.

Paige would then slap Kidd before leaving and making Natalya smirk as it happened.

Naomi vs Alicia

The Authority decided to punish the Usos after hearing they had been discussing how unhappy they were that the Authority had returned.

They punished them by making Jimmy's wife Naomi wrestle Alicia Fox with one are tied behind her back.

Naomi gave a good performance in the match but it was just too much to ask of her as she was unable to get the win.

The Ascension vs more random wrestlers

Once again the Ascension took on a team of nobodys and got a more than easy win with even JBL slamming them for their opposition choices.
