Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is bidding to keep his overhaul of the club on track this month by getting rid of three fringe players. The trio of Darren Fletcher, Anders Lindegaard and Tom Cleverley are all expected to leave in the near future, but the Dutchman is said to be aiming to accelerate their departures by selling them on this month. Fletcher has attracted interest from new West Brom boss Tony Pulis, who is aiming to improve his squad by adding players with genuine pedigree, and would certainly be the loss most felt by the fans. Meanwhile Lindegaard has been linked with a string of clubs following the signing of Victor Valdes, and midfielder Cleverley is a transfer target for Aston Villa. In other dealings it’s been confirmed that United have made an approach for Serie A star Paulo Dybala. The youngster is worth €40 million euros, and Palermo’s president has stated that he has told the Red Devils to wait until the summer.
