In his weekly interview for wwe.com, Michael Cole has been speaking with Triple H ahead of a big night for Smackdown (you can see the whole interview below).
The show has moved nights and will air on a Thursday for the first time in a decade and the two legends of the WWE were reflecting back on the past of the show.
More than that however, the leader of the Authority was once again questioned on all things WWE.
With the return of Daniel Bryan to the ring, a little over a week until the Royal Rumble and the clash of the three men challenging for the championship on RAW, the COO had a lot to say.
With Mr Money in the Bank left standing tall on RAW ahead of the Royal Rumble, Cole turned the interview towards all things Seth Rollins.
- John Cena's Royal Rumble opponent may have been finalized
- Has WWE Superstar confirmed retirement with subtle social media move?
- WWE legend announces huge UK 2015 summer tour
Getting very high praise from Triple H, Rollins was also left with one possible Royal Rumble spoiler around him.
"The Royal Rumbles going to be very interesting, if you can't skin a cat one way, you've always got a briefcase in your hand." - Triple H's hint at a possible Royal Rumble spoiler.
Hinting towards the possibility that Rollins could cash in his briefcase against a winner at the Royal Rumble who is not him, Triple H has certainly raised the stakes for the Royal Rumble.
Rollins himself hinted at the possibility and with the last time the three men were in the ring at a PPV being the conclusion to Night of Champions, who knows what we could see in two weeks time.
If Rollins is to cash in his briefcase at the Royal Rumble, it certainly would catch a lot of fans off guard.
Many have speculated when and where the self-proclaimed future of the WWE will cash in his prize with the predominant theory being at WrestleMania.
It has been the worst kept secret in the WWE for several months now that Roman Reigns is scheduled to win the Royal Rumble and challenge and then defeat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXXI.
A cash in on his former Shield brother would leave the WWE Universe with a WrestleMania moment they would never forget.
That plan however does seem a bit less likely these days since the return of ultimate fan favourite Daniel Bryan.
Bryan was left celebrating at the end of WrestleMania XXX last year and he could be in the same position once again in 2015.
A cash in at the Royal Rumble would throw the entire theory under the bus however and would succeed in leaving the WrestleMania main event as unpredictable as always.
