The agent of Marco Reus has strongly denied that his client has agreed to join Real Madrid.
Reports in Spain claimed yesterday that the Borussia Dortmund ace had signed for Los Blancos, but Dirk Hebel described the reports as "blatant nonsense".
That’s good news for Manchester United who have been heavily linked with the midfielder. According to recent reports the German international is now available for just €25 million thanks to a release clause written into his contract, with Liverpool, Arsenal and Bayern Munich also in the running for his signature.
Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke said of the rumours: "There is nothing to it."
Reus is currently out of action with an ankle injury, but could return when the Bundesliga resumes after the winter break.
From a potential new arrival to one player who’s future is in doubt at Old Trafford and Manchester United insist that Adnan Januzaj won’t leave on loan this season.
Januzaj won't go out on loan
According to the Mirror, Januzaj has been told by boss Louis van Gaal that he must stay and fight for his place in the team.
Previously it was suggested that David Moyes could make a move to take the young Belgian on loan having got the best out of him during his otherwise disastrous 10-month spell in charge at Old Trafford, however that looks dead in the water.
LVG to splash £150m again
There’s been more claims in the Mirror that the Red Devils will splash another £150 million in the summer transfer window to keep up with Manchester City.
The spent exactly that sum over the previous summer window to land the likes of Angel di Maria and Ander Herrera to the club and could do exactly the same again to make them title contenders.
