It’s been a quiet January transfer window so far but it seems as though the rumour mill is starting to pick up, at least when it comes to Chelsea.
Reports in Spain say that Real Madrid are looking to make an incredible £50 million plus Luka Modric deal for Eden Hazard - although whether there is any truth in the rumours remains to be seen.
The claim is made by El Chringuito who say that the massive swap deal is possible but not until the summer - although the validity of their claims have to questioned given the implausible nature of the deal.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is a long-term admirer of Modric having tried to sign him from Tottenham during his first spell with the Blues, however he is unlikely to willing to let Hazard, who is close to penning a new deal at Stamford Bridge, walk away.
Jese and Varane on Chelsea radar
It’s also being claimed by the Express that Jose Mourinho is working on a deal for Real Madrid duo Raphael Varane and Jese. The pair are not first team regulars at the Bernabeu and could be possible contenders to be sold in the summer, and Chelsea would love to swoop.

Mourinho was the man who gave Varane his big break at Real Madrid, putting him in the team ahead of the more-experienced Pepe, while Jese is one of the brightest young talents in Spain.
Varane, who has been linked with Manchester United, is valued at £20 million, while Jese would set Chelsea back £20 million.
Sponsorship deal close
And finally Chelsea are close to landing a shirt sponsorship deal with Turkish Airlines worth £25 million a year.
Samsung's current deal which is believed to be worth around £18 million-per-year to the Blues, expires at the end of the current campaign, and they will be ditched in favour of the Turkish airline.
