Seattle Seahawks somehow managed to make it to the Super Bowl for the second consecutive year last night after one of the most improbable comebacks in NFL history.
The current World Champions have been in many holes this season; from the 3-3 record they started the season off with to the 12-point deficit they faced against the Packers with under three minutes to play.
But even though the Seahawks completed one of the greatest comebacks in NFL history, one player, receiver Doug Baldwin, was still not a happy man post-game. It's fair to say that there have been a fair few doubters of the Seahawks this season and Baldwin chose his time in front of the media post-game not to bask in the glory of victory, but to launch an huge rant at the expense of the media who have "doubted" them this season.
It's fair to say that Doug Baldwin carries around a huge chip on his shoulder despite having won the Super Bowl last season. After playing a key role in the Seahawks' unbelievable comeback, the receiver who is known as 'Angry Dog' by his teammates, unleashed a brutal assault on all those who have doubted him and Seattle this season.
"Are you ready for this?" Baldwin screamed outside the team's locker room, ESPN reported. "Are you? How many of you doubted us? How many of you doubted us when we were 3-3? Y'all, I want you to write this down. Write this down, OK?

"When we were 3-3, everyone counted us out. Y'all didn't believe in us," he continued, walking back and forth in front of about 30 reporters. "A whole bunch of people thought we weren't going to make it. At 6-4, it was, 'Ah, that's OK. They have a winning record, but they aren't going to make the playoffs.' At 16-0 at the half (Sunday), how many of you counted us out? How many of y'all doubted us?"
He should be thanking them
It seems rather weird that Baldwin is angry with the media when you consider they probably provide a fair amount of inspiration for the Seahawks. Those doubters should almost be thanked.
An array of Seattle Seahawks also left the game early when they thought they'd already lost, not sure if Baldwin's remarks are for a select few of his fans as well. Regardless, the angry wideout did not stop his rant there.
"It is indicative of our season,'' added Baldwin, "Y'all didn't want to believe in us. It's OK. We don't need you to believe. We're going to believe in ourselves. We ain't worried about you. We are worried about ourselves.
"When we were down 16-0 at the half, guess what we said? 'Don't trip.' You don't win the game in 30 minutes. You win it in the second half. We did what we do. We played Seahawks football. And now, we'll see y'all at the Super Bowl."
