Mohamed Salah's move to Chelsea from FC Basel last winter hasn't panned out the way the Blues had hoped.
Despite showing promise for Chelsea towards the end of the last Premier League season, Salah has rarely had chances to prove his worth and fight for a place in the starting XI.
With his departure to AS Roma looking more and more likely, Chelsea will need to look for replacements right away.
Marco Reus has established himself as one of Europe's best forwards in recent seasons. Despite being hampered by injuries of late, he is still an enormous threat going forward and his technical ability is a fear for opposing defenders.
Dortmund have regressed recently and currently sit in 17th place in the Bundesliga, leading to speculation that some of their big stars may want to quit the club. Marco Reus could easily slot into Chelsea's starting XI for as little as €20-30 million, if rumours are to be believed. A healthy Reus would be a significant upgrade on the wing for Chelsea.

Expect Chelsea's interest of the talented German to grow if Salah parts ways with the west Londoners. The only cause for concern would be a potential bidding war with the likes of Real Madrid for the outstanding forward.
Juan Cuadrado has shown the world what he is capable of when starring for the likes of Colombia and Fiorentina. His finishing ability, skill set, pace, and shot power are some of his greatest assets.
Along with what he offers going forward, Cuadrado has also shown he is capable of tracking back; something some of the best wingers fail to do, such as the likes of Marco Reus. Cuadrado would most likely break into the first team at Chelsea, seeing as how he has a better end product than Willian and is equally capable of tracking back.
In his prime, Cuadrado would be a fine asset for Chelsea. The only question that remains: would Mourinho be willing to spend between €30-50m to get him?
Jese Rodriguez has emerged as a promising asset for La Liga leaders, Real Madrid. Coming off the bench he's displayed good finishing and sharp instincts to beat his man. Likewise, his pace and skill set are exemplary traits for a young forward.
Although he has a long way to go, Jese is the closest like-for-like replacement for Mohamed Salah. He won't demand playing time, as he doesn't receive much at Real, and he could be a solid asset for Chelsea coming off the bench. Mourinho could even pry him away from Real for as little as €15m.
