WWE have announced today that WrestleMania 32 will be held in Texas in 2016. The home of the Dallas Cowboys will be the setting for the huge pay-per-view, with Arlington, Texas, set to host WrestleMania for the first time, according to WWE.com.
WrestleMania is the biggest and best WWE event in any year and planning such a huge wrestling bonanza takes a huge amount of preparation. That's why over a year in advance WWE have announced their plans for WrestleMania 32, with the pay-per-view set for a sensational return to wrestling's heartland.
WWE have revealed that there will be a media event on Tuesday to talk about WrestleMania 32 in Texas. The press event will be held at AT&T Stadium and will feature WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon, WWE legend Hulk Hogan and WWE superstar John Cena.
Return to Texas
It's anticipated that other WWE stars and Divas will be present to celebrate the announcement of WrestleMania 32, and it will be interesting to hear what McMahon and co have to say about the inspired decision to take WrestleMania back to Texas.
"This is the first WrestleMania to emanate from Texas since Houston played host toWrestleMania XXV in 2009. It will be the first from Arlington," wrestling inc reported.
AT&T Stadium is one of the largest stadiums in the US and arguably the best place WrestleMania 32 could have been held. A record of 105,000 fans attended a game in 2009 at the stadium where Dallas Cowboys play their home games.
WrestleMania breaks records
No doubt WrestleMania 32 will be as successful as its predecessors, with WrestleMania 30 for instance creating an array of trending topics on social media while breaking records last April.
This year, San Jose's Levi Stadium will host WrestleMania 31 a year on from when The Undertaker lost his unbeaten streak to Brock Lesnar.
