The Royal Rumble, one of the WWE's premier events, is almost upon us and, as is the case every year in the run up to the event, rumor and speculation is rife as to which Superstars will take their place in the 30-man event.
The most recent official entrants into the event were announced on Monday's January 19th RAW where the names of The Miz, R-Truth and Damien Mizdow were added to the increasingly packed roster.
Now though one report has revealed that the WWE are working on bringing Bo Dallas back from injury as a surprise entrant on Sunday night - a move that many within the WWE Universe will not have seen coming.
Dallas has been out of action through injury since November 3rd - the WWE announcing that a foot injury would rule out the wrestler for around 6-8 weeks.
As such the timing of the Royal Rumble would certainly fit the rehabilitation schedule but it is clear that the WWE have been doing their best to keep Dallas' appearance on the down low with no official word on the main roster talent for some time now.
Whether Bo Dallas' return to action will be marked with an impressive Royal Rumble performance remains to be seen, he could yet simply be used as mid-fight cannon fodder to allow bigger names to shine in front of the bumper audience.
Since rising from WWE NXT, where he held Champion status for a fairly significant amount of time, Dallas has struggled to hit the heights on the main stage.
Rumored concerns from Vince McMahon about the wrestler have since emerged but with a comeback now slated in for the biggest WWE stage, bar WrestleMania, it certainly looks like Bo Dallas is being given the opportunity for a big push once more.
The current WWE Superstar won't be the only Dallas making a shock appearance at the Rumble however, with reports this week claiming that Diamond Dallas Page is all set to go at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
