Danny Cipriani makes England squad

Published Add your comment

Danny Cipriani is back in the England fold after Stuart Lancaster named the Sale Sharks fly-half in his extended practice squad for the Six Nations. The mercurial number 10 missed out on the Autumn internationals after impressing in New Zealand last summer, but has been rewarded for his fine form domestically at the AJ Bell stadium in Salford. Cipriani, whose contract is up at the end of the season, has played nine times for the Red Rose since making his debut back in 2008. He fights George Ford, Owen Farrell and Stephen Myler for the coveted outside-half shirt as the World Cup looms ever larger on the horizon.
