UPDATE | An extended version of the video featuring Cristiano Ronaldo in downtown Madrid has emerged. Check it out below!
Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has provided more evidence that he's one of the nicest guys in football after dressing up in disguise to surprise a young fan with a signed ball in the busy Plaza de Callao.
The Portugal international was filmed showcasing his skills with some neat flicks and tricks before stripping back his clever camouflage - which consisted of uncharacteristically plain, baggy clothing, a wig and stick-on moustache - to hide his identity in downtown Madrid.
Ronaldo exchanged several passes with the unsuspecting boy and then presented him with a precious gift, appearing to take great satisfaction in the pleasure his personal appearance gave the starstruck lad, whose fixated stare never left the face of the recently crowned FIFA Ballon d'Or winner.
It didn't take long before other onlookers and passers by realised they were in the presence of football royalty and quickly gathered round the former Manchester United man as he knelt down to hug the humble recipient of his donation.

The backstory behind this well orchestrated public stunt remains unclear, but the positive PR generated from the 29-year-old's latest act of kindness can only enhance his worldwide reputation even further.
Having already established himself as one of the greatest footballers on the planet, Ronaldo's status seems to be improving with each passing week. It's only a matter of time before his total world domination is complete.
Next up for the Real Madrid marksman and his team-mates at the Santiago Bernabeu is an away trip to Nuevo Arcangel where Carlo Ancelotti's side take on Cordoba in La Liga.
Los Blancos currently sit one point clear at the top of the Primera Division table with a game in hand over Barcelona, and Ronaldo will be looking for three more points this weekend in his quest to reclaim the Spanish title off local rivals Atletico Madrid.
