Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech still has plenty of fans at Stamford Bridge, but not many that would go as far as dressing up in a full kit - complete with trademark helmet - to pay tribute to the veteran custodian.
However, one supporter was pictured doing exactly that at Anfield last week when the Blues travelled to Merseyside to take on Liverpool in the first leg of their Capital One Cup semi-final.
The image of the crazed fan, seemingly on a one-man mission to spread his love for the Czech Republic international, quickly spread across social media and prompted a number of amusing responses, with a wide range of queries that questioned the individual's motivation for making a public mockery of himself.
If the unidentified man wasn't embarrassed enough by the reaction online then he surely would've felt a little red faced when the Chelsea team sheet was read out and to his dismay Thibaut Courtois was named in Jose Mourinho's starting line-up last week.
After going to all that effort for his favourite player he didn't even get chance to see him in action after Cech returned to the substitutes bench for the 1-1 draw with the former Atletico Madrid loanee taking his place between the sticks after recovering from the thumb injury that had ruled him out of the previous few games.

The 32-year-old actually returned to the side for Saturday's FA Cup fourth round clash against Bradford City, but after shipping four goals in a shock 4-2 defeat against the League One opponents it's unlikely he'll regain his place for the return leg of the League Cup semi which takes place in west London on Tuesday.
Still, there will be plenty of eagle-eyed onlookers keeping a watching brief on the crowd of supporters at Stamford Bridge in the hope of getting another glimpse at the Cech-loving lunatic later this week.
