Manchester United could make a move for Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan, according to the Express.
It has been reported that Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal is considering a move for the Belgian ace, with it having been reported that he's available for around £26 million.
United in need
It appears, then, that despite adding to his midfield ranks this past summer, the Manchester United boss wants to further improve his options in the middle of the park as he goes in search of long term success at Old Trafford.
United have splashed the cash on the likes of Marouane Fellaini, Ander Herrera and Daley Blind in recent time, but it now appears that they're ready to add to the department once again sooner rather than later.
There's no doubt about it, though, United's interest in Nainggolan will no doubt come as a surprise for a large section of Manchester United fans, with United having previously shown interest in Nainggolan's midfield partner Kevin Strootman.

In fact, since the beginning of the Louis van Gaal tenure, United have been linked with a move for the Dutchman, however it now appears that they're ready to look elsewhere.
And that could lead Nainggolan to the Premier League, but a deal to bring him to England may prove tricky. The Belgian international is currently owned by both Roma and Cagliari. Roma paid for 50% of his rights last summer, but could yet give him permission to leave the club if United swoop.
Nainggolan, at 26-years-old, still has his his peak years ahead of him, so would no doubt prove a key first team player for the Red Devils if they managed to secure his services.
There's no doubt about it, with the transfer window approaching its latter stages, Manchester United fans will be hoping their club move quickly, as they look to improve during the second half of the season.
The Red Devils will no doubt be hoping to secure FA Cup silverware this term, but will be determined to secure a place in next year's Champions League.
