WWE fans have been left angry following the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in Philadelphia which failed to deliver in many aspects.
Daniel Bryan's early exit is one of the things that seems to have lit the fire for the majority of the WWE Universe, with fans across the globe outraged that Bryan didn't stay in the 30-man Royal Rumble longer than he did.
Many WWE fans also feel that superstar wrestler Roman Reigns is not ready to challenge for the WWE Heavyweight Championship, but he will main event WrestleMania 31 in March nonetheless.
McMahon out of touch
Despite this, WWE Chairman and essential boss man on all key storylines, Vince McMahon, has gone full speed ahead with his plan to have Roman Reigns face off against the departing Brock Lesnar in two months.
But what McMahon continues to do is underestimate the power of WWE fans and the power of Daniel Bryan. Bryan is the man and it's as similar as that. He's the most popular wrestler in the WWE right now for diehard fans - the ones who have voices - and McMahon found out as much after forcing the wrestler to bow out early during Royal Rumble on Sunday.

- Why The Rock could make surprise Royal Rumble return
According to well respected wrestling expert Dave Meltzer, as reported by WhatCulture, McMahon and other members of the top brass at WWE were extremely surprised by the fans' reaction to the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, with #CancelWWENetwork trending worldwide after the show.
Negative fan reaction
The decision to make Daniel Bryan exit early was always going to get some backlash from fans, which Vince did expect. But according to Meltzer, McMahon and co didn't expect Roman Reigns' Royal Rumble win and the returning Rock to get booed so heavily.
"Vince McMahon and WWE officials were surprised at the level of fan backlash over Roman Reigns winning the 2015 Royal Rumble. The WWE had expected some backlash and had prepared for it, however the boos for Reigns’ win was far beyond what anyone envisioned.," WhatCulture reported.
“They panicked early, they changed a few things,” reported Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio. “Dwayne [The Rock was not happy] was not happy,” he added."
This is the most ridiculous response from McMahon. To not realize that crossing both Bryan and the WWE Universe would result in a huge backlash just shows that he's completely lost the plot. Yet again this proves that McMahon really needs to step down and stop making key decisions in WWE.
Safe to say that when even The Rock gets booed something is going terribly wrong.
