Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado has agreed personal terms with Premier League giants Chelsea, reports the Express.
Citing reports on the continent, it has been suggested that the highly rated Colombian wide-man is ready to move to Stamford Bridge in this January transfer window.
In fact, the report has revealed that, despite Chelsea and Fiorentina having still not reached an agreement over the player, Blues boss Jose Mourinho is extremely confident of securing his signature sooner rather than later, with Cuadrado now recognised as the club's No.1 transfer target.
It appears, though, that Chelsea will have to raise their bid, with the same report from the Express revealing that the player's buyout clause stands at as much as £26.8 million.
Chelsea fans, then, will no doubt be hoping that their club match the clause, with the Blues yet to act in this winter window. There's no doubt about it, despite the large transfer fee, Cuadrado would prove quite the coup for the Stamford Bridge outfit as they go in search of long term success under the guidance of Mourinho.

Cuadrado of course has proved his credentials in the Serie A of late and enjoyed a fine World Cup, as Colombia reached the quarter-finals of the competition. The Colombian certainly appears to fit Mourinho's style at the Bridge as he's extremely hard-working and competent when going forward and tracking back.
On the way out
However, if the Fiorentina man secures a move to England, then either of Andre Schurrle or Mohamed Salah will have to depart the club, according to the same report.
Both Schurrle and Salah have endured tricky seasons under Mourinho this term, so it's not a major surprise that the Blues boss is looking to move them on.
Cuadrado, who has also been linked with a move to Manchester United, is clearly recognised as an upgrade by the Blues boss, but it remains to be seen as to whether the club manage to get the deal over the line before the close of the transfer window.
