Jose Mourinho has agreed to cash in on Stamford Bridge misfit Andre Schurrle in a bid to raise the additional funds needed to meet Juan Cuadrado’s release clause. Reports yesterday carried quotes from Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Montella that confirmed the Blues would have to pay the full price of £26 million for Cuadrado, and it appears Mourinho is ready to concede defeat. Chelsea are thought to be asking for upwards of £30 million if they’re to let Schurrle leave, with Wolfsburg and Borussia Dortmund hot on his tail. Throwing his two cents into the mix is Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio, who has claimed that Mourinho has already agreed to pay Cuadrado's release clause and finalised terms with the player himself. If this is the case then only a medical will impede his west London move, and he could be ready in time to face Manchester City this weekend.
