Timberwolves leave Kevin Love out of promotional video

It would seem that producing videos to prepare for the visit of the Cleveland Cavaliers has become a thin gin the NBA this season.

What appears to also have become a thing is ignore a certain player or players whilst making those videos.

A few months ago, the Denver Nuggets produced a video that overlooked the likes of LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love.

Well their style has also been used to produce a similar video ahead of the Cavaliers trip to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday.

The struggling Timberwolves have created a video looking ahead to the Cleveland stars who will be arriving on Saturday night, but there's one missing.

With the video being dubbed #TheReturn, that should lead the video to be centered around one man.

It goes through Cavaliers players LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, Shawn Marion, J.R. Smith, Tristan Thompson, Timofey Mozgov and Matthew Dellavedova before showing the message 'and the return of'.

So the obvious name to be next would be Kevin Love right? The guy who left the Timberwolves for Cleveland in the off-season.

No, the long awaited return video is for Cavaliers forward Mike Miller.

In an obvious attempt to send a friendly shot to their former hero, the Timberwolves have had a little laugh at Love's expense.

It does however remain to be seen who will have the final laugh when the two teams meet on Saturday night.

Minnesota showing no love?

The Timberwolves may not be showing any Love to one of Cleveland's top men, but they have been shown even less by opposing NBA teams this season.

The Timberwolves are the worst team in the league right now with just eight wins to their 37 defeats putting them even lower than the New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers.

The Timberwolves may have won on Wednesday night against the Boston Celtics, but prior to that they were on a five game losing streak.

Set to travel to the Sixers on Friday night for a bottom of the league clash before welcoming the Cavaliers, things really need to take an upturn for Minnesota.
