Arsene Wenger has been a busy man in this January transfer window as his side go in search of climbing the Premier League table in the final few months of the campaign.
And, with the the deadline on the horizon, the Gunners could yet add to their squad in the next few days.

Wenger praises new signing
Wenger has taken the time to praise new signing Gabriel Paulista, believing that his strength, ambition and focus will help him adapt seamlessly to English football.
As reported by the club's official site, the Gunners chief told Arsenal Player: “He has good pace, he’s good in the challenge and he’s tall - so he can adapt to English football. Maybe it will take him some time but it is good to have him.”

Confident that the Brazilian defender will make a prompt impact for the club he continued by saying: “He’s very ambitious, focused and serious. that’s important at a club like ours - you need to have a complete focus on your job. He has that.”
Paulista adds vital defensive depth to Arsenal, especially in the wake of another long term injury to Mathieu Debuchy.
“We needed another centre back because we have lost Debuchy. Monreal can play centre back and we are a bit short if something happens, especially with the achilles [problem] of Kosciely.We needed some cover, or we would not be responsible.”
And, speaking in his pre-match press conference, as reported by Goal.com, Wenger revealed that the new signing will be in his squad for this weekend's Premier League clash against Aston Villa, as he told reporters: “Gabriel is ready to play. We are in a job where competition exists. The best player of the moment play.
Arsenal ready bid for Mandzukic
Arsenal are ready to battle it out with Manchester City for the signature of Mario Mandzukic according to the Daily Express.
The Croatian striker moved to Atletico Madrid last summer, but is unsettled by his role at the club.
Arsenal could rekindle their interest in the player having addressed their pressing issue at centre-back with the arrival of Paulista.
Higuain back on Arsenal radar
According to reports in the Daily Mirror, Arsenal are back in for Gonzalo Higuain, but are set to face competition from Atletico Madrid for his signature.
The former Real Madrid striker had previously been linked with Arsenal in the summer of 2013, but decided to join Napoli instead.
Napoli chairman remained coy on any possibility of a move: “I have no intention of selling Higuain. We are strengthening the team and will buy other reinforcements.”
