Manchester United are set to make a £30 million deadline day move for Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan, according to the Daily Star.
The Red Devils, who have been extremely quiet in this January transfer window, could yet complete a big-money signing sooner rather than later.
And Nainggolan may well be the man to join the ranks at Old Trafford, with it being suggested that Louis van Gaal is set to make a move for the dynamic midfield maestro imminently.
The same report from the Daily Star has in fact suggested that the United boss has turned his attention to Nainggolan after No.1 target Kevin Strootman picked up a knee injury.
Van Gaal, then, appears to be sticking with Roma in an attempt to increase his options in middle of the park.

There's no doubt about it, Nainggolan would prove quite the coup for the Red Devils if they're able to secure his signature. The Belgian international has proved his credentials in Italy's elite division, and would no doubt offer a great deal to United's midfield.
He'd certainly put himself about at the Theatre of Dreams, but it remains to be seen as to whether the United hierarchy manage to bring him to Manchester.
United in need
United fans will no doubt be hoping the club improve in the midfield department after today's news. Michael Carrick, who has been the club's most consistent midfielder over the last couple of years, is set for a spell on the sidelines, whilst Scotsman Darren Fletcher is closing in on a move to West Ham United.
The Red Devils won't have it easy in their pursuit of Nainggolan, however, with their Premier League rivals also seemingly interested in bringing him to English soil.
The same report has revealed that the trio of Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool are monitoring the midfielder, but they will have to act quickly with Manchester United seemingly ready to make their move.
