Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio believes Chelsea are already planning for the summer transfer market and will move for Inter Milan's Mauro Icardi once the season ends, reports the Metro.
Despite still having a few days left in the January transfer window, Chelsea are already planning for the end of the season and are already putting names together for a transfer wish-list over the summer.
Schurrle is set to join Wolfsburg whilst Salah could go to Fiorentina on loan until the end of the season.
With their January activity already nearing it's end, Chelsea's attentions are now turning to the Summer window, which is where most big signings happen and their eyes are on Icardi from Inter Milan.
The Argentine forward is expected to leave the San Siro come the summer and the director of the club has already admitted that they face losing the attacker as the league just isn't prestigious enough to keep hold of him.
When talking about Icardi a few months back, the Inter director stated that due to financial powers elsewhere, teams in Serie A cannot afford to keep their big-name stars and he fully expects to sell Icardi come the Summer.
The same report has suggested that Chelsea are already working on a potential deal to sign the forward and are keen to add him to their squad in the summer, with Didier Drogba set to leave with his contract expiring.
Icardi would become Jose Mourinho's fourth striker signing in two summers, following Drogba, Loic Remy and Diego Costa from the previous transfer window.
The 21-year-old striker has been in good form for Inter so far this season, netting 12 goals in 25 appearances.
