Liverpool and Arsenal target Paco Alcacer has signed a contract extension at Valencia.
The 21-year old has been a Reds target for quite some time and the forward had also interested the Gunners among other teams, but he has quashed any interest in himself by extending his current deal.
This new deal will not only extend the striker's stay in La Liga but it will also add a HUGE £70 million buyout clause in his contract that is sure to put off any potential suitors.
The Spain international is himself happy to put pen to paper on a new deal at his boyhood team and has already rushed to claim he isn't going anywhere.
He said: "At the end of everything, the two parties wanted the same, which was to continue together.
"I am happy because of the effort they have made for me to be here and the effort that I have made to be a better player day after day.
"I am aware of offers. We knew what we wanted and I think that those things had to be left to the side.
"I have always said that that it is better for me to be here than in any other place," - Paco Alcacer
"For now I want to be here. I have always said that that it is better for me to be here than in any other place."
The 21-year old is believed to be one of the stars of the future for the Spanish national team. As for his club side, he has five goals and five assists in eighteen games for them so far this season.
So with Alcacer turning down a move to the Premier League, who will Liverpool turn to now in their search for a striker?
