It's transfer deadline day and Chelsea could yet act before the close of the window.
In truth, despite various rumours, it has been a fairly quiet period for the Blues, but Jose Mourinho could still improve his squad in the coming hours.
Here are today's biggest stories coming out of Stamford Bridge...
Raphael Varane could replace Gary Cahill
The Daily Mail have reported that Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho could make a move for Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane as he goes about replacing England international Gary Cahill.
The report has suggested that Cahill is now fighting for his Stamford Bridge career after a number of disappointing performances.
It's certainly unlikely, however, that the Blues will land Varane before tonight's deadline, but it appears that Mourinho is ready to bring him to English soil sooner rather than later.
Juan Cuadrado chase still on
Chelsea are still hoping to land Juan Cuadrado before tonight's deadline, but the deal will only go through if Andre Schurrle exits the club.
This is according to the Telegraph, who have suggested that Schürrle could join Wolfsbuge today, meaning Cuadrado would complete a £26.8m deal with the Blues.
Drogba to stay on
Veteran striker Didier Drogba, meanwhile, has revealed that he will remain with the Blues for next season's campaign, reports ESPN.
At 36, there have been some suggestions that the Ivorian is set to call time on his career, but it now appears that he will still be plying his trade in England's elite division next term.
Speaking after the club's draw with Manchester City this past weekend, Drogba told Telefoot:
"Next season I'll still be a Chelsea player. Of course, I would like to play more but I am not unhappy. Loic played another great match."
