Roman Reigns faced a barrage of criticism following his win at the recent Royal Rumble pay-per-view in Philadelphia.
WWE fans voiced their disapproval with the decision by the wrestling company to hand Roman Reigns the opportunity to main event WrestleMania 31. Fans took to social media to vent their frustrations, with the majority extremely frustrated by the early exit of immensely popular wrestler Daniel Bryan also.
It will be Reigns and not Bryan who will challenge for the WWE Heavyweight Championship in March, this is despite the superstar wrestler receiving a negative fan reaction to his win at Royal Rumble.
Bad publicity = good publicity
Many wrestling experts have commented on WWE's decision to hand Reigns his first Royal Rumble win and the majority of them agree with the fans and think such success is too early for Reigns in his career.
Roman Reigns finally spoke out in depth this week about the negative fan reaction and told wrestling expert Sam Roberts that he doesn't care about the terrible response. In fact, Reigns feels that even bad publicity is good publicity.

"I see all my criticism. I'm in a position now where I get a ton of love, which is great, and a ton of criticism, which is great. As long as people are talking about me, that's all that matters to me," Roman Reigns told Sam Roberts.
"The people who are critiquing and bashing me, they're making me more relevant. I would think if you didn't want me around, just don't talk about me. But, they make it even more overwhelming. Noise is noise. That's the thing."
Slams his critics
Reigns then went even further and accused his critics of not knowing what they're talking about, commenting that their "asinine" remarks just "blow his mind".
"The majority of critics are people who have no clue what they're talking about, been in a wrestling ring, been a public speaker, and wouldn't even lock up with me. They would have no clue what to do. So, for them to critique or ever say anything about any performer is asinine and just blows my mind."
