With such a long list of top Superstars having graced its ring, the WWE is never too far away from speculation concerning the return of one of its former wrestlers.
In recent days that speculation has centered around former fan favorite Bubba Ray Dudley - the multiple time WWE Tag Team Champion having made a surprise appearance in the Royal Rumble and today spoken positively about the possibility of a WWE return.
And now WWE legend Jim Ross has had his say on the idea of a return for one half of The Dudley Boyz.
Writing in the latest edition of his 'Ross Report' blog, Jim Ross backed the prospective comeback citing the experience Bubba Ray Dudley could bring to the creative side:
"From a creative standpoint, I could easily see Bubba Dudley returning to WWE if for no other reason to allow Bubba to work with the younger talents on the road at live events."

Dudley certainly has enough experience performing in the WWE and other top wrestling promotions - at some of the biggest events in the history of the business too - and would be a great figure for rising stars to go to for advice.
"Young talents cannot improve working with those who have the same or less than them skill sets."
Having spent over a decade away from the WWE, Bubba Ray's return would surely have to fall more in the mentor role with a full time intense schedule now probably out of the question.
With Tyson Kidd and Cesaro looking to build a tag team partnership Dudley (and perhaps his brother) could return to offer support, and maybe a push, in the process.
Taking success for granted
Ross is clearly all for the return of experienced former WWE Superstars and is worried that the young talent coming through is too easily carried away with any quick success.
"What's arguably the biggest thing missing in the pro wrestling business today? For my money it is talents riding town to town on 5-7 day tours once or twice a month and the fact that each young wrestler needs a mentor.
Too many young wrestlers think that they know all the tricks of the trade especially ring psychology when in fact many haven't a clue."
