Arsenal after Malaga star

Published 1 Comments

Arsenal have been handed a significant boost in their alleged pursuit of long term target Ignacio Camacho after the player hinted that he could leave Malaga. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been keeping tabs on the 24-year-old Spain international for some time, and a switch to the Emirates looks increasingly likely following latest comments made by the defensive midfielder. Meanwhile, new Arsenal signing Gabriel has sensationally revealed that he used to play as a striker. The Brazilian defender - who moved to England from Villarreal in an £11m deal - has no plans to push further up the pitch though, as he's concentrated on helping tighten up the Gunners backline. And finally, Arsenal have been boosted by news that Danny Welbeck is in line to return for this weekend's north London derby, after recovering from the thigh injury in time to face Tottenham.
