Triple H recently took part in a extensive interview with fellow WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin in which he spoke on a number of topics close to the hearts of many WWE fans.
The discussion, and the comments made by HHH, has been welcomed by much of the WWE Universe with his views on NXT talent and the length of Raw in particular gaining positive feedback.
There have been some though who claim it was little more than a PR attempt to appease restless veteran fans, and now reports suggest some within the WWE believe Triple H lied when it came to one specific topic - CM Punk.
"Regarding Triple H's comments on the live Steve Austin interview about having no beef or issues with CM Punk, most people within WWE that are talking do not believe he was telling the truth."
Triple H claimed that he had never had an issue with CM Punk, before or after the Superstar left the WWE, admitting that at times they didn't click but refuted the idea that they were at loggerheads.

The WWE COO did describe CM Punk as a "weird cat" who was prone to communication issues but emphasized there was no "beef."
HHH's comments jar with those made by CM Punk himself when speaking on his time in the WWE.
Punk lambasted Triple H during his high-profile podcast interview released late last year. He claimed, amongst other things, that Triple H ruined his momentum in 2011 as well as choosing other wrestlers over him for movie opportunities and generally stifling his creativity.
Those within the WWE calling out Triple H for lying clearly side with Punk's perspective. It is worrying that, while the interview may have won Triple H fans outside of the company, within it there is a faction who openly question the COO.
On a more positive note it is rumored that HHH's comments on wishing to shorten Raw from three hours to two was received more positively with many within the WWE sharing his views on the show.
What do you think WWE fans? Do you believe Triple H, or CM Punk? It certainly sounds like someone is lying about the recent issues...
