Kaka scores first goal in MLS with Orlando City

Kaka made his Orlando City SC debut one to remember as he netted his first ever goal in Major League Soccer.

The former World Player of the Year tucked away a first half penalty as the Lions trounced FC Dallas to the tune of 4-0 in the pre-season friendly.

It was a good day for debutants as former Burnley and Huddersfield striker Martin Paterson, as well as Danny Mwanga, both found the back of the net in their first outing in the purple and gold of Orlando.

The 32-year old Kaka agreed to join Orlando last summer from AC Milan in Italy. The playmaker spent the past few months on loan at Brazilian side Sao Paulo where he scored twice in 19 appearances.

The attacking midfielder was the last person not named Messi or Ronaldo to win the Ballon D'Or, when he did so in 2007 while at Milan. He then moved to Real Madrid for €68.5million.
