After reports that West Brom's star striker openly said he is looking to move onto 'bigger things' in the summer, the England forward has found himself being completely ignored by teammates around the Hawthorns, according to the Daily Mirror.
Although the striker has enjoyed a fantastic season so far, scoring 14 goals, his teammates have been left exasperated by his transfer window antics.
A club insider has revealed that Berahino has been fined for arriving late to match-days, while he was also punished by the magistrates' court last month for drink-driving.
Midfielder James Morrison is believed to have punched Berahino in a heated dressing-room exchange after the striker refused to apologise for a mistake which led to a Cardiff City equaliser last season as the Baggies sat precariously in 17th place.
Now, his public comments expressing his desire to move onto "bigger things" is said to be the last straw for Albion teammates, who feel he was being disrespectful.
The insider has confirmed the players are so annoyed they have started to ignore Berahino at West Brom's training ground.
It is believed by some at the club that Berahino's antics have come as a result of not being able to engineer a move away from the club in January with Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool reportedly interested.
Plans to give the Burundi-born striker a new contract are now on hold as a summer exit seems inevitable. However there is no suggestion that Berahino will be ignored on the pitch as team-mates understand his goals will be vital in securing West Brom's Premier League future.
