Real Sociedad midfielder Esteban Granero has compared new boss David Moyes to the one and only Jose Mourinho, reports the Daily Star.

Moyes has enjoyed a steady start to life at Sociedad, securing 13 points from his first ten games in charge, including a famous 1 - 0 victory over Barcelona.

Moyes impressing

And former QPR midfielder Granero was managed by The Special One during his time at Real Madrid, between 2010 and 2012, and he has been impressed by the Scotsman, who is looking to rebuild his career after a awful reign as Manchester United boss.

Granero said: "Each coach has their own characteristics and working methods, but Moyes and Mourinho are very similar in their ideas, professionalism and desire to revolve everything around the players.
