Blake Griffin is heading for surgery

Published Add your comment

We begin in the NBA where New York Knicks owner James Dolan is coming under fire after a contentious email exchange with a fan. After an angry Knicks supporter criticized Dolan over his time in charge of the franchise, the owner responded by suggesting the fan was an alcoholic and better suited to supporting the Nets. Elsewhere in the NBA and LA Clippers star Blake Griffin is heading for surgery. The forward has a staph infection in his right elbow and could be out for anywhere between two and six weeks. Across to the NFL and Richie Incognito is nearing a return to the league with the Buffalo Bills. The guard was at the center of the recent bullying scandal at the Miami Dolphins and hasn’t played since 2013. Finally, in soccer the US men’s national team snapped a five-game winless run by beating Panama 2-0 last night. Midfielder Michael Bradley scored directly from a corner to open the scoring.
