Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has been boosted in his pursuit of Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling as the England international doesn't want to sign a new deal with the Merseyside club.
This has been reported by the Daily Star, who have suggested that, despite the Anfield outfit having offered Sterling a new long term deal, the 20-year-old could now move on with two of Europe's biggest clubs interested in his services.
Chelsea seemingly have an interest in the youngster, while Spanish giants Real Madrid have also been credited with interest in the wide-man of late.
There's no doubt about it, Sterling would only improve the Stamford Bridge outfit even further, but a move to London would no doubt prove extremely controversial for the talented English international.
Sterling is now recognised as one of the leading young talents in the country, with the saga surrounding his future looking set to continue.

It was only yesterday, however, that Rodgers revealed that the club had offered the youngster a new deal, as he told reporters: "The club has offered an incredible deal for a young player.
"[But] if they get too much, too young then it really sabotages their development. It is very important for young players, not just Raheem, that they have something to strive for.
"If they are given sound advice they will see that. It is about mapping out the career of a player. It is not just about this deal."
It appears, though, that Sterling is already on the lookout for a new challenge, but it remains to be seen as to whether he will leave Anfield for Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea in for Varane
The Daily Express, meanwhile, have revealed that Chelsea are set to make a £35 million move for the signature of Real Madrid star Raphael Varane.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho, of course, managed the Frenchman at the Bernabeu, and could now be reunited with him sooner rather than later.
In fact, the same report has suggested that Varane could be targeted as a replacement for John Terry, who is approaching the latter stages of his career.
Mauro Icardi talks
The Daily Express have also reported that Chelsea have hold talks with the agent of Mauro Icardi.
The report has suggested that the Blues are hoping to bring the talented Serie A striker to the Premier League for around £18 million, but it remains to be seen as to whether the club are able to secure his services in the near future.
With Liverpool also interested in the 21-year-old, it could be quite the transfer battle between two of England's biggest clubs for the Argentine ace.
