Arsenal are tracking former Inter Milan midfielder Patrick Olsen after the 20-year-old was released by the club.
The Metro reported the Gunners’ interest after the Italian outfit cancelled his contract earlier this month.
Since leaving Inter, Olsen has been training with Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem but Arsene Wenger is keen to get the youngsters signature after interest last season did not materialise into a move.
The midfielder has three caps for Denmark under-21’s and is thought to be highly rated in his homeland.
Olsen also had a loan spell with Stromsgodset in Norway making just six appearances whilst getting sent off three times for the reserve team.

Arsenal already have a strong midfield set up but they would be able to get the Dane for a bargain price which would prove to be a smart gamble in the future.
The move is said to be completed within the next couple of weeks.
