Marco Reus has different handshakes for Borussia Dortmund team-mates

Marco Reus has had a pretty good week alright. The Borussia Dortmund star not only signed a new long-term contract to commit his future to his boyhood club, he's also inspired them to a much needed win in the Bundesliga.

Dortmund look to be slowly but surely turning things around after a disastrous first half of the season, picking up their second straight win with a 4-2 victory over Mainz which moved them further away from the drop zone up to 14th.

Handshakes

But perhaps the best moment of the day came after the full-time whistle had blown as he confirmed his status as the coolest player on the face of the earth with personalised celebratory handshakes with his team-mates.

For striker Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang there was a military salute, while Ilkay Gundogan and Nuri Sahin got a more elaborate greeting.

Celebrations

Reus has a history of unique celebrations and recently used the three monkey 'emojis' as his inspiration after a hat-trick of goals against Galatasaray back in November.

The 25-year-old, who was on the scoresheet today alongside Aubameyang, Sahin and Neven Subotic, will be looking to kick on with Dortmund as their Champions League showdown with Juventus draws ever closer.
