Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard has rejected newspaper claims that he was interested in a move to French moneybags Paris Saint-Germain, reports the Daily Mail.
The Belgian international, who recently signed a new long term deal with the Stamford Bridge outfit, has insisted that he was always going to stay with the club.
Speaking to Telefoot, Hazard said: "PSG? Personally, there was never anything in that. The newspapers talked about it a lot but I knew from the start I would stay at Chelsea."
Hazard, of course, is set to feature in the club's Champions League showdown with PSG tomorrow evening, however he's insisted that the tie will be different to the one that took place last year.
"I don't think it was a miracle against them last year. We shouldn't have lost 3-1 in the first leg, we should have played better some counterattacks. And we made two defensive errors.
"We were a little bit lucky to score in the last minute. It will be a whole other game this year. We're on a good run, we're first in the league and we've got reinforcements."
Luiz makes admission
Staying with tomorrow's huge clash, and flamboyant Brazilian defender David Luiz has insisted that has admitted that he wanted to leave Stamford Bridge despite a new contract offer from the club.
Speaking to The Sun, Luiz said: “I decided to leave after the end of the season. Chelsea offered me a new contract and I said to them ‘I’m not feeling the same thing like I was feeling years ago.’
“I had an amazing connection with the fans, my teammates, everyone at the club, but I decided my cycle was finished and I wanted to live a different moment now in my life.”
Luiz looks set to go head-to-head with the Blues for the first time since leaving the club tomorrow evening.
Chelsea target surprise Wilson deal
Chelsea are interested in young Bournemouth forward Callum Wilson, according to The Sun.
In fact, it has been suggested that Jose Mourinho has instructed scouts to watch the progression of the youngster over the remainder of the campaign. The Blues, of course, already have an array of attacking talent plying their trade at the club, but it appears that they are intent on building for the future.
