A lot of WWE fans have been wondering for months what Cesaro did to get such a huge demotion from his spot as an Intercontinental Championship contender.
The 'Swiss Superman' seemed to be on his way up in the WWE Universe but has since found himself down in the Tag Team division, in an alliance withTyson Kidd in what seems to be a futile attempt at capturing the tag titles.
Well one rather over eager fan tried to come to Cesaro's cause today, but he/she did it in a rather odd way, by hacking the star's Twitter account and tweeting that he wanted Vince McMahon to die.
The hacker seems to be suffering from a split personality disorder however, with the tweets going from the rather placed #PushCesaro to the angrier 'I hope Vince McMahon gets cancer', no seriously that was one of the tweets.
A range of the since deleted tweets:
"You know what? I’m sick of Vince McMahon and his bulls*it. I don’t even get a chance to get the tag titles with Kidd now.
I hope that old man gets cancer, I would of been one of the best for sure in the WWE. But that old washed up has been has no idea.
I lack charisma? Yeah right I’m the Swiss superman everybody cheered for me at WM.
This company is a piece of s*it."
All tweets from the account have now been deleted, but as you can tell from the screenshots above they were most definitely sent out from Cesaro's verified account.
The hacking did manage to achieve one thing however. The hashtag #PushCesaro is trending fourth worldwide at the time of writing with WWE fans around the world all talking about the hack and agreeing with the overall sentiment.
It has come as a shock as to why Cesaro was demoted so heavily when he seemed to be performing well. When Vince McMahon appeared on Steve Austin's podcast he picked out Cesaro by example as someone who failed to grab the 'brass ring', criticising Cesaro for not connecting with fans.
But McMahon has to look at himself for those faults. It was ultimately him who decided to make him turn heel, then face, and then heel again. It was McMahon who took away the incredibly popular 'Cesaro Swing' finisher. And it was McMahon who paired Cesaro with Paul Heyman only to make Heyman talk about Brock Lesnar all the time instead of pushing Cesaro.
When the Survivor Series teams were being announced, Cesaro got the biggest pop of the night when his music hit and it seemed he was joining Team Cena. That would have been incredible and given him a much needed boost, but no it was all a joke, and we've been stuck with the awful Erick Rowan ever since.
The motive of this was questionable, the execution non-sensical, but the end result has been reached with #PushCesaro trending. What an odd way to start the week and I think we're all just glad there were no nude pictures this time like Seth Rollins last week.
So WWE fans, what do you think. Should Cesaro get a push back up the roster or has this harmed his chances even more? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below...
