WWE legend Ric Flair is set to make a surprise appearance on Monday Night Raw tonight it has been revealed.
According to reports from PWInsider Elite, via Wrestling Inc, the Nature Boy will be appearing on tonight's Raw in a segment with Triple H, the head of the Authority.
Flair's appearance is unlikely to be an in ring match at the age of 65, so it will more than likely seem him appear with Triple H and warn 'The Game' ahead of his upcoming match against Sting at the FastLane Pay-Per-View.
Flair and Sting
From Marc Middleton of Wrestling Inc:
"WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is currently scheduled for tonight's RAW to help hype the Fastlane pay-per-view. The decision to bring Flair in was made this past weekend," the report states.
"Flair is booked for a segment where he talks with Triple H about Sting. The idea is for Flair to bring up his own history with Sting to advise Triple H not to take Sting lightly."
Could Offer More
Flair has been doing a promotional tour for his upcoming UK Shows recently and told The Burton Mail that he wanted to do more live appearances on WWE TV. Well it seems like the hall of famer has been granted his wish.
"I appear on WWE programming about eight or nine times a year now," Flair said in his interview with the newspaper. "I think I could offer more and I think the management would like to use me more but it is about the offers that have to follow me that they have to consider as well. I can be a very tough act to follow.
"I can still be active and will be for many more years to come, but they also have to take into account the other superstars at the same time," he added.
We'll have to wait until tonight to see what Flair actually does on Raw. If it would be possible to get him face to face with Sting rather than just talking to his old Evolution partner then that would make for incredible television.
And you have to remember that Flair loves taking a bump, so that possibility cannot be ruled out at all. But it's always great to see the stylin', profilin', limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin' n' dealin' son of a gun in action.
