Liverpool are on red alert as Pedro hints at Barca exit

Barcelona star Pedro has put three top Premier League sides on red alert by hinting at a possible Barcelona exit.

The winger has suitors in England in Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal, though it remains to be seen which side stands the best chance of landing him.

It has been hard for the Spaniard to hold down a place in the Barcelona team with competition from the likes of Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.

Pedro challenge

Challenging for a place in Luis Enrique’s starting XI when he has three of world’s best players at his disposal was never going to be easy for Pedro but he has still managed to score 10 goals in 27 appearances this season despite only starting two of the Catalan’s last eight games.

Speaking to Spanish newspaper Sport, as relayed by the Daily Mirror, he said: “The truth is that it's complicated for those of us who play less. But when I go out [to play], I always give it all, the best of me.

“It’s my way of being; I never give up. You have to try to make things complicated for the coach when it comes to choosing the starting players.”

Bad fit

The 27-year-old clearly isn’t fitting into Enrique’s plans and much like other players such as Alexis Sanchez and Cesc Fabregas, he will likely depart the Camp Nou in the summer.

He is the sort of player that could fit in perfectly at Anfield as he would suit their style of play. He can provide width with his pace and skill and can also play more central in behind the strikers. He will give Brendan Rodgers more options in his attack and definitely provide goals for Liverpool.

Liverpool fans, would Pedro be a good fit at Anfield? Or he is better off elsewhere? Let us known in the comments box below...
