Tottenham loan report - youngster loses out to Arsenal

Ryan Fredericks was up against Tottenham's North London rivals Arsenal in the FA Cup on Sunday.

The flying right back more than held his own but Middlesbrough were exposed by two Olivier Giroud strikes. Fredericks played the full 90 minutes and made one impressive run down the right flank, crossing for Kike to head against a post late on.

Championship

Alex Pritchard played the full match for Brentford as they surprisingly lost 3-0 at Charlton, while Jordan Archer was once again on the bench as Millwall lost by the only goal of the game at Leeds.

In the division below, Dele Alli played the full 90 in MK Dons 4-2 defeat at Gillingham. Alli provided the assist for Devante Cole's goal. Kenneth McEvoy was on the bench as Colchester United won 1-0 at Oldham.

League Two and beyond

Dominic Ball played at right back for Cambridge United and played the full match as the U's lost 2-0 to Plymouth. Nathan Oduwa continued to impress at Luton, starting and making some probing runs and plays as the Hatters beat Carlisle 1-0. The winger was subbed midway through the second half after team mate Luke Wilkinson was sent off.

Emmanuel Sonupe made his senior debut in the Scottish Premiership as he came on for St Mirren in the 61st minuteas they lost 2-1 at home to Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
