There is no denying that WWE have had a lot of criticism in recent months, with perhaps the most criticised WWE superstar being Roman Reigns.
When Reigns was the last man standing at the end of this year's Royal Rumble main event at the end of January, many believed he was the obvious choice as the winner and that having The Rock join him after to celebrate his win, was WWE's only way of hoping to counter the boos which he received.
The negativity surrounding Reigns has never really faded since his successful win in January, and with the WWE Universe often, as with last year's Royal Rumble match, siding with Daniel Bryan and favouring him as WWE's biggest star, Reigns has regularly found himself under pressure in Bryan's shadow.
Previous man-of-the-moment at WWE Shawn Michaels has aired his views on the pressure the Former member of The Shield is under at present, having this to say during an interview with BlogTalkRadio:
"As far as the pressure, it’s going to be tough. WrestleMania is pressure filled anyway and more so when you’re going for the first time in what might be the main event."

HBK is referring to the match which takes place this Sunday night at the Fast Lane pay-per-view event, where we will see Reigns face Bryan, with the winner earning a title opportunity against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXXI next month.
He continued: "If you are being dubbed or people seeing you as the next guy those things mount up. They are important and you want to live up to them and it’s especially hard."
Michaels then went on to say how it is even harder now to fill such a position because of the prominence of social media.
He added: "It’s easier to believe the negative stuff than the positive stuff. The feel good stories don’t usually spend a lot of time on the front pages."
Although it is easy for those who make up the WWE Universe by attending events and watching WWE television around the world to be negative towards certain story lines and winners of specific matches, this is understandably hard for the individual wrestler themselves.
Even though it is a character they are playing as part of WWE, they still want that character to be received as they as well as the company had intended.
Although we are not too far away from The Grandest Stage Of Them All, the match against Daniel Bryan this coming Sunday will be Reigns' opportunity to prove his worth and show WWE fans why he is the next big thing.
