Arsene Wenger has revealed a fact about Thierry Henry sure to have all Gunners fans awash with surprise, with the Frenchman claiming his former striker was worried his teammates thought he was rubbish to begin with. Henry quickly established himself as a formidable force on English shores, and is now widely regarded as perhaps Arsenal’s greatest ever player. However the 37-year-old’s concerns about the perception of his abilities from his colleagues makes for entertaining reading. We’re not sure he ever had anything to worry about. Meanwhile Wenger also shed light on an aspect of his transfer policy, suggesting that there’s far more to be taken into account than many people realise when attempting to sign a player. The veteran manager confirmed he has cancelled transfer plans in the past after concluding that certain individuals wouldn’t settle properly at Arsenal, and said he looks at many factors, including the player’s family history!
