Randy Orton pulled from pre-WrestleMania TV tapings

This Sunday is WWE Fastlane and will be the final stop on the road to WrestleMania XXXI.

The event is set to have enormous consequences for anyone looking to take part in the showcase of the immortals in San Francisco on March 29th.

We will see Daniel Bryan vs Roman Reigns for the right to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, John Cena vs Rusev and of course the face to face encounter between Triple H and Sting that is 14 years in the making.

Fastlane has shaped up to be an explosive night and will help to shape the WWE landscape ahead of the biggest event of the year.

However there is one man who has been an enigma for several months now and his WrestleMania status may have been clarified.

Randy Orton hasn't been seen on WWE TV since November when the Authority left him laid out prior to Survivor Series.

His return has been scheduled numerous times only to be pulled at the last second and many expected him to return to set up a feud with Seth Rollins ahead of WrestleMania.

Orton has now unfortunately been removed from advertising for all television tapings leading up to and following WrestleMania.

The Viper has been off of TV since November and he doesn't appear set to return any time soon with him also being pulled from the advertisements for the post- WrestleMania oversees tour.

Orton initially left the live shows in order to film The Condemned 2 and was scheduled to return at the Royal Rumble but didn't appear despite rumours he was backstage.

Freeing up Mr Money in the Bank?

Given the way Orton left the WWE, his first feud is expected to be against the man who put him out of commission Seth Rollins.

If Orton is now not returning in time for WrestleMania, the question now becomes what will happen with Seth Rollins.

He was expected to have a showdown with Orton in San Francisco but is it possible that the plans for Mr Money in the Bank have now changed?

Rollins is not booked for a match at Fastlane so who knows what direction the WWE will take him in the run up to WrestleMania?
