Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has revealed that the duo of Robin van Persie and Phil Jones are fit for this weekend's Premier League showdown with Swansea City.
The duo both missed the club's FA Cup clash with League One outfit Preston North End on Monday night, however it appears that they could be in line for a return for the game at the Liberty Stadium tomorrow.
Speaking in his press conference ahead of tomorrow's game, Van Gaal admitted that he now has just one injured player at the Theatre of Dreams with Michael Carrick still being out on the sidelines.
However, there's even good news coming out of the Carrick camp, with the Dutchman revealing that the veteran midfielder is set to return to training next week ahead of the final few months of the campaign.
There's no doubt about it, after so many injury problems this term, Manchester United fans will be over the moon with these comments from their manager as the crunch period of the season really begins.
The best team
Van Gaal has also hailed the team spirit within the camp at United, insisting that they have been the best team in England based on results over the 19 to 20 games.
United, of course, have only been beaten on once occasion in their last 19 games in all competitions, and this is clearly something that Van Gaal is proud of.
United can still improve
Understandably Van Gaal has pointed to recent results, insisting that United have been the best team in the division in recent time, but the Red Devils faithful will still be hoping for more from their side.
Despite a number of positive results, United have failed to produce the goods in terms of performances and have struggled to hit top form throughout the Van Gaal regime.
With the likes of Angel di Maria, Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata and Co. plying their trade at the club, it's certainly not surprising that United fans want to see more from their side.
However, United fans know that securing Champions League qualification for next season is the most important thing, and this is something that Van Gaal must deliver.
