WrestleMania is the big daddy in WWE, The Grandest Stage of Them All, but have you ever thought about the possibility of WWE's biggest event of the year heading to London in the UK?
Some US fans may hate the idea of such a move but it's likely wrestling fans across Europe would love the prospect of London hosting Mania at some point.
At the moment, such an idea is not even being discussed in WWE, but one legend thinks it should be.
Mania in London?
Ric Flair opened up in a frank and honest interview with GiveMeSport this week, and the topic of a WrestleMania in London was covered extensively.
The legendary wrestler is surprised that the WWE has never looked into staging Mania in London, and cites the example of the success of SummerSlam in 1992 as proof of the huge support WWE has in the UK and Europe.
"I'm surprised that the WWE hasn't thought about doing a WrestleMania in London," Flair explained in an exclusive interview with GiveMeSport.
"They did SummerSlam in the UK back in 1992, and that was a great success. The fan support in the UK and Europe is certainly big enough to warrant a WrestleMania in London."
The big problem
Although Flair is anxious to point out the potential, he admits the logistics of staging WrestleMania in London would provide the biggest stumbling block.
"There are probably plenty of economic issues and logistic issues that make having WrestleMania in London unrealistic. It's a huge production to take overseas."
So what do you think WWE fans? Does a WrestleMania in London make sense and do the UK public deserve such an event? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
