David Moyes has had plenty to say to the press of late as he makes strides over in La Liga with Real Sociedad and, this Saturday, has given an interview to Marca providing some interesting insight on his career to date.
Moyes appointed the manager of Real Sociedad back in November and has led a side threatened by relegation to greater respectability, although there is still plenty of work to be done at the San Sebastian club.
The Scot had been out of work since April after he was sacked by Manchester United with less than a season at Old Trafford under his belt. With the top four beyond them, it was decided the trigger would be pulled.
Moyes moved to Manchester United to replace Sir Alex Ferguson following the expiration of his contract with Everton and, unsurprisingly, he had several alternative offers in that summer of 2013.
The 51-year-old has told Marca about these approaches although, when Manchester United came calling, there was only going to be one result.
